The process begins with the fusion of alloys in the smelting tower. Following the correct completion of this step, they are then transferred to the holding furnaces in each of the 11 automated injectors, ranging from 200 tonnes to 1,000 tonnes which carry out the die-casting of pieces from 50 g up to 6 kg and also allow the inclusion of inserts..

At GABI, an entire series of complementary processes is also carried out, such as the trimming, vibrating and sand-blasting of the parts and even going as far as the assembly of sub-groups.

Gabi's ability to deliver fully finish-machined parts deserves special mention.  Machining capacity has been strengthened in recent years with the purchase of six new machining centres which operate as automated production cells.
